Broken Promises to Conflict-Zone Interpreters- Let's Unite to Support Them
I read a blog today, written by Tony Rosado, an incredible friend, mentor and leader in the interpreting field.
He talks, in great and important details, about how our community, that of interpreters and people that work with interpreters, can come together in order to support our colleagues, conflict-zone interpreters. Promises have been made to them in exchange for their vital and crucial work. Unfortunately, such promises have been broken.
It is an absolute shame that we have come to this point. However, we have voices and we have the power to speak up and be heard.
Let’s raise our voices for those amazing and brave colleagues that need us now more than ever.
Please, read the blog titled “We must come together as a profession on this issue” and take action!
